Cold Leftovers by Bhare
"Under the blinking warm bulb, a quaint little bed rests on a small broken frame." These aren’t lines from a novel. They’re from Bhare—an artist unafraid to confront the quiet grit of everyday life. On January 9th, Colonna Contemporary is proud to present Bhare’s newest solo show:
🎨 "Battle-Worn" — A Reflection on Past Ideas and Future Potential. This series explores a question that every creative faces:
"Have my best ideas already passed me by, or is there something deeper waiting to be discovered?" Through raw, textured brushstrokes and vivid color, Bhare captures the quiet, unglamorous moments of life:
✨ Dusty carpets
✨ Scratched kitchen floors
✨ Fingerprints on the fridge
But this is more than nostalgia—it’s a confrontation with growth, doubt, and persistence.

Time Compendium
Time Compendium reimagines moments from the past through triptychs of images and layered storytelling. With the assistance of AI LLMs, each drop captures a slice of life where history, culture, and personal experience intersect.
With nuanced observation and emotional resonance, the project invites viewers to rediscover forgotten spaces and the quiet textures of lives once lived. More than just a reflection on history, Time Compendium explores how memory shapes our present and future.
Imagined as a weekly vignette of three works with accompanying short essay, the project is an episodic collectible series.
A weekly drop on the Base L2 blockchain and minted on Transient Labs ERC721 smart contract, TC is an ongoing series.

State of Humans by Dylan Wade
"State of Humans Vol. 1 is an attempt to depict a few familiar experiences we all share on this pale blue dot. We’re currently evolving at lightspeed towards an unknown future, and the internet ensures we experience it together minute by minute. The comfort of our home grows as the polarity rises outside, and all of the time we’ve gained back from convenience is fought over through every screen. We’re like a stampede, scrambling to establish the next cookie cutter row of overpriced homes. Maybe AI can help stop us from hurting the planet, right..? It’s like we’re one big case study of the hedonic treadmill, and there’s no way of slowing it down. It’s a bleak future when you emphasize pessimism, though zooming out tells a different story. We’re in a time where we can experience and be more than ever before. How we spend our lives isn’t purely determined by the trade we were born into, nor is the place. Did you know commercial flights only began 100 years ago? Cross country or international travel used to be reserved for the wealthy, whereas we can now visit more places than an average person could in 10 lifetimes. Wild! This type of exponential progress applies in most areas too. More practically, the average amount of time we get to spend on earth is always growing. Things may not be simple, but the potential of each day is vast. The problem is, putting things in perspective is tricky when this style of life is all we’ve known. Having sufficient food and a warm home is a wonderful thing, but if you’ve had the privilege all along it’s simply the status quo. This could be why the complex landscape of today can feel like too much instead of a blessing. Communication is now instant, yet somehow we feel more disconnected and at odds with others than before. Our attention is increasingly becoming a commodity, and it takes a lot of effort to maintain focus on our priorities. It seems there’s a balance to be struck between the ease and helpfulness of technology, and also knowing when to disengage. Remembering that a screen isn’t a substitute for in person connection, though it can certainly be complementary. In the end, it’s up to each individual to navigate life and do their best to live it well. It probably wouldn’t hurt to touch grass every now and then either.
Good luck, have fun, and enjoy the time you have here.
